Our Approach
Future Studies Lab is a creative studio that specializes in transforming the sustainable actions of its clients into visually compelling assets. Our ultimate goal is to act as a bridge between companies and the sustainable future they are working toward.
We work alongside companies and agencies to help them convey their sustainability stories through high-quality photo and video productions.
We believe in putting #SolutionsFirst. The world is changing fast, and we face tough challenges like climate change, loss of biodiversity, and social inequality that need innovative, sustainable solutions. It’s critical to tell the stories of these solutions, now more than ever.
Our mission is to make sustainability visible by transforming actions into compelling images and videos. The creative studio was founded by Luca Locatelli, our creative director, who is driven by his vision and passion for bringing his expertise to the corporate world.

Demonstrating to stakeholders that the technology employed in the factory is as organic as traditional vegetable cultivation.
Concept for Visual Translation
Utilizing state-of-the-art machinery, a greenhouse can cultivate entirely hands-free and pesticide-free vegetables, ensuring top-notch product quality. This approach is epitomized by the title 'UNTOUCHED.' The concept involves conducting a photoshoot at Planet Farm's facility and three natural areas in Italy. Ten diptychs juxtapose technology and nature to convey a deeper meaning or narrative.
Client Brief
LuisaViaRoma: Don’t invent, replant. Don’t build, sew. Not expensive technologies available only to a few, but nature – aided by the hand of humanity- which medicates itself USING ITS OWN HOMEOPATHY OF ROOTS, LEAVES AND OXYGEN.
The photograph should attract fashion influencers for distribution on social media.
Concept for Visual Translation
Valeria, the last mermaid of Capo Carbonara (southern Sardinia), teaches human beings not to be afraid of the dark shadow of the Posidonia oceanica meadows, an underwater reserve of oxygen threatened by trawling, acidification of the water and the anchors of boats. In the last 50 years, the meadows have regressed by 34% in the Mediterranean Sea and by 25% along the Italian coasts. Reforestation initiatives are already underway which will allow fish to find refuge again. And for Valeria, not to leave her home.
NATURE IS SAVED WITH NATURE.
